Gender issues in ARD

Agricultural productivity is limited by gender inequalities in access to, and control over, resources (such as land, financial services, water, rural infrastructure and technology). Recognising and understanding the different roles that men and women play is of key importance to define policies and programmes that contribute to sustainable and inclusive development.
