Governance and institutional capacity building

Governance covers the resources, institutions and mechanisms used by social groups and individuals to express their interest, interact and exercise their rights and obligations as defined by the State. Rural poverty can be reduced by supporting rural organisations, advocating gender issues, improving natural resource governance and fostering empowerment and inclusiveness.
