Community of Practice on Value Chains in Rural Development

VCRD Value Chain in Rural Development was a moderated discussion platform with 20 to 25 active participants from SDC cooperation offices andother agencies, and another 80 or so semi-active/passive contributors and readers. The platform offered a discussion forum on core topics of VCRD. The discussion was spread over 2 years and organised in a sequence of discussion periods, followed by a conclusion-cum-break period. The purpose was to gather international experience and to check the state of the art on this domain. The debate was hosted by the 'Employment and Income' Division of SDC.
