The A+RD Network is the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation’s thematic network for issues related to development cooperation in agriculture, food security and rural development. Members of the A+RD Network are development practitioners with links to the activities of SDC.
Main purposes of the A+RD network:
- exchange knowledge and good practices in A+RD-related topics among network members
- foster mutual support and learning
- facilitate access to relevant information and expertise at all levels
Focus areas of the A+RD network:
- land governance
- agricultural innovation and rural advisory services
- climate change resilient small scale agriculture
- impact measurement
Activities of the A+RD network:
- mailing list for information exchange among network members
- public A+RD Network website
- e-discussions on specific topics
- thematic workshops and other “face to face” meetings
- in-depth analysis of specific issues relevant to network members
